Cant praise these guys enough. Kenneth was great to work with for estimate and scheduling and the team did an amazing job on 3 massive oak trees we had over our house... they went above and beyond... even knocked out some little stuff that wasn't part of initial discussion.

Initially, they removed several trees from our property, and we were impressed with their professionalism, strong work ethic, expertise, and attention to detail. Most recently, after a storm brought down a large tree, they responded quickly, safely removed it, and did an excellent job cleaning up all the debris afterward. All goals were achieved with courtesy and perfection at a fair price. James River Tree Service removed a huge pine tree in a very cramped area close to our house… without the need of a huge crane. Every high cut was carefully lowered by cable to a small pickup area and taken to a chipper on the front lawn. All work was safely completed in one day without damage to our sprinkler and fiber optics systems. Our yard was completely cleaned. Misc stumps on the opposite side of our property were also ground away. JRTS has an our thanks, our future business, and our strongest recommendation. Thank you.

Awesome job! Had two pine trees removed and several stumps ground up on our property. Got a great price (about 2/3) compared to the competitors. Team was professional, respectful, and cleaned up the debris very well. Hauled away everything and left nothing but footprints. Would highly recommend!

I cannot say enough positive things about James River Tree service. After calling a few diff companies for quotes and either getting an astronomical amount or the company never sending a written quote, my friend recommended James River Tree. Kenneth came out and gave me a quote that was affordable. Him and his team came out and got the job done in a few hours. They even ground a stump we had left previously that i forgot to ask about in the original quote. My yard looks so good and I am so happy with how it turned out.
